Genevieve Potts (mrs. Percy A.) Dolle's work, The Violett Family in America, is now in the Library and available for download as a PDF file.
Dolle's manuscript was published in 1950, and contains a wealth of information for Violette researchers, especially those dealing with "western" lines - Kentucky, Ohio, etc., but also including interesting information on possible English ancestors. This edition includes a letter, as an appendix, that considerably clarifies issues concerning the earliest family. Added to Corbett's work a rich family story is emerging. |
